Q: What is your photography editing style?
A: I would best describe my style as romantic, timeless and true to color! I take all of our photos in pretty, relaxed settings and try to capture that beautiful, glowy sunlight as often as possible. I keep our sessions fun and stress-free!
Q: WILL WE GET THE PRINT RELEASE TO OUR PHOTOS AFTER OUR WEDDING?
A: Yes! upon receiving your high-resolution images, you will also get a full print release. I also offer professional prints, and it’s easy peasy to order straight from your gallery.
Q: HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL BE THERE AT OUR WEDDING?
A: All wedding collections come with two photographers for the entire day so that nothing gets missed. I may have an additional photographer or assistants as well.
Q: Do you shoot same-sex weddings and weddings of all faiths?
A: Yes, of course! It would be my pleasure to document your celebration regardless of faith or orientation.
Q: DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH ELOPEMENTS and courthouse weddings?
A: Yes! I have special rates for weekday weddings and elopements.
Q: DO YOU HAVE A LIST OF PREFERRED VENDORS TO USE?
A: I sure do! From wedding coordinators to florists and caterers, I have worked with some of the best vendors in the industry and would be happy to share their information with you.
Q. are engagement sessions necessary?
Engagement sessions are complimentary and fun, and I highly recommend doing them! This is a great way for you to get to know me and and my shooting style, and for you to become comfortable in front of my camera. On your wedding day, when I ask you to go in for the nuzzle, you’ll know exactly what to do!
Q: WE’RE HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING. DO YOU TRAVEL?
A: Umm…yes! I love destination weddings and have been lucky enough to travel all over! Send me some information on your travel plans, and I will create a custom wedding collection to suit your needs.
Q: DO I HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?
A: I highly recommend ordering prints through my professional lab, but it is not required. The difference in quality is HUGE when it comes to printing from a big box store vs. a professional lab, so I encourage clients to let me help with prints!
Q: WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
A: I use all of the latest Canon equipment. Each photographer carries a 5d Mark 4 camera body, 35, 50 and 85 mm lenses, 24-70 mm & the 70-200 mm lens, along with lighting equipment. All of my cameras have a backup in the rare event that anything should happen to one of my pieces.
Q: how long will it take to receive our photos?
A: Engagement and portraits will be available for online viewing approximately 2-3 weeks after the session. Weddings are delivered in 4-6 weeks.
Q: HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR WEDDING DATE?
A: a $500 deposit and signed contract is all that’s required in order to reserve your wedding day on my calendar. The remainder of the balance is due one week before the wedding.
Q: HOW MANY WEDDINGS HAVE YOU PHOTOGRAPHED?
I have been photographing weddings since 2013. I photograph around 30-40 weddings per year as both a lead photographer and second photographer.
Q: can I see a full wedding you have photographed?
Sure! I would be happy to show you complete wedding galleries from start to finish, in fact, I encourage you to ask to see full galleries when you’re deciding on a photographer. Email me through our Contact page and I’ll be happy so send over!
Q. are you insured?
Yes, I absolutely carry insurance. I can provide your venue a certificate of insurance should they require one.
